Lounges and Occasional Chairs
We sell a huge range of lounges and chairs. We have a small range on display in our shop….our most popular styles, but once again you are spoiled for choice, and there are many important decisions to be made in choosing a lounge. We guide you through those choices:

• lounge style…..it’s important to choose a style that suits your home, the ‘look’ you want to create, and one which is really comfortable to sit in
• fabric choice…..there are thousands of fabrics to choose from, and we guide you through those choices of colour, pattern, texture, touch, and care labels. We spend quite a bit of time helping you make the correct choice, and ensuring that the fabric coordinates with your existing furnishings, plus we put together coordinates for scatter cushions and throw rugs to help you visualize how the lounge will look in the room.
• Cushioning…the materials used for the seat and back cushions of a lounge will affect the way the lounge looks, feels, and lasts. We get you to sit on different types of cushioning to find out which suits you best.
• Timber colours…there may be timber legs or detailing, and the correct colour choice for any visible timber is important.
• How many seats you want in the lounge….either 1 seat, 2 seater, 2½, 3, 4 seater or modular lounges. Most of our styles can be made in a number of sizes.
• Sofa bed or non sofa bed? Many of the lounges can have a sofa bed built in, and again there are choices to be made as to whether you want a standard foam sofa bed, or an innerspring mattress.

At Trend Interiors, we’ll guide you through those choices, as we feel that purchase of a lounge or special chair is a decision you'll have to live with for many years. We’ll take the time to help you avoid expensive mistakes.

Curtains
We provide a free measure and written quote, and work with you through the design process to help:

• select fabrics, that will coordinate with other furnishings in your home. We’re told by our customers that we have one of the larger ranges of fabric samples around
• make the right choice of lining type to suit the fabric and to suit purpose
• with the choice of heading style to suit the fabric and the room
• choose decorative rods (and there’s a wonderful choice), or simple quality tracks which will be hidden under pelmets, valances or swags and tails.

We also have some unusual design ideas, if you’d like something a little different, plus we can help with ideas for that ‘difficult’ window.

In our showroom we have some beautiful curtains on display, so that you can actually see some design ideas, look at the quality of our making, and view the most commonly used decorative tracks.

Pelmets, Valances, Swags and Tails, Casual Swags
Again, we have displays of some styles in our showroom, and for example, you can closely examine a pelmet to see some of the design features, plus the care we take with the finishing touches.

Roman Blinds, Bonded Blinds, Austrian Blinds
Several styles are on display, and we pride ourself on the quality of our blinds. Ask us about the points of difference between for example our romans and bondeds, and many others on the market. Of course we guide you through the choices, including:

• fabric choice to suit your room, and your taste
• style of blind… and there are many choices, and design variations

Our manufacturer uses a shrinking oven to preshrink most fabrics, and this makes a huge difference to the finished product, as the fabric is then unlikely to ‘bow’ or ‘pucker’ over time, plus for our romans a high tech plastic is used for the battens.

Verosol Blinds, Timbers, Shutters, Venetians, Pleateds and Rollers
We are approved Verosol dealers, and supply and install all of their products. We have samples to show you when we come out to measure and quote, or you can see our samples in our Showroom. If you’d like more details about Verosol products, you can simply phone us to send out a brochure.

Reupholstery
If you have a special piece of furniture which needs a new lease of life, we can arrange for reupholstery, and help you select fabrics.

Quilts and Bedlinen
We can design and make stunning quilts, doona covers, bed valances, bedheads, cushions, bolsters and throws, and coordinate these with curtains, blinds, bedroom chairs and lampshades.

Lamp Bases and Shades
We have a small range of lamp bases and shades available at Trend, plus many more to choose from in our library of catalogues. We can also arrange custom made lampshades for your special lamb bases.

Fabrics and Wallpapers
We carry an enormous range of fabric samples and a small range of wallpaper and border samples. Many of these samples can be borrowed overnight, to see how they look in your home before you order. Some people prefer to make their own curtains etc., so we’re quite happy to just sell you the fabrics you need.

Furniture Pieces
We carry a small range of carefully selected furniture pieces plus you can select from our library of catalogues. If you can't find what you want, then we can have pieces custom made for you, although this is a more expensive option.

Rugs
We can have rugs custom made for you, so that you can link the colours in a room through your rug. Also, you can choose a ready made rug from our catalogues.

Decorator Items and Giftware
Our shop is almost overflowing with decorator items and giftware, such as prints, lamp bases and shades, flowers, mirrors, photo frames, plus we track down many unusual decorator items.
